Join us for all the build-up and action as it happens from the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg, as Lazio take on Atalanta.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome at 20.00 GMT (21.00 CET).

The second leg will be in Bergamo on April 21 or 22, with the winner going on to face either Inter or Como in the Final.

These teams played here in Serie A only last month, La Dea emerging with a 2-0 result.

Atalanta played the Coppa Italia Final three times in the last seven seasons, while Lazio won seven of these trophies, most recently in 2019 by beating La Dea.

Maurizio Sarri (Lazio)

Maurizio Sarri feels that if Lazio’s fans had been inside the Stadio Olimpico rather than protesting outside, ‘we could’ve taken the win home’ after the 2-2 Coppa Italia semi-final with Atalanta.

Mattia Zaccagni (Lazio)

“It was a good performance, the right attitude, perhaps we just need to improve in our concentration, because we twice conceded straight after scoring. That should not happen.

“The fans made us feel their presence in their own way. We respect their decision, it’s not easy to be without them, but it is their choice and we have to respect that.”

Boulaye Dia (Lazio)

“It was a very important goal for me, I hadn’t scored for a long time, but the disappointment is that we didn’t win. That really hurts,” Dia told Sport Mediaset.

“When the team works together, we do really well, we scored two goals and played a good game.”

OK, so the Lazio fans now have a fireworks display outside the stadium. Again, bizarre.

FT: Lazio 2-2 Atalanta

Lazio twice took the lead in the Coppa Italia semi-final, only to be clawed back by Atalanta in a 2-2 thriller, as qualification goes down to the second leg in Bergamo.

Pasalic from hero to zero, what a mistake to gift that goal!
