Milan’s win over Inter in the Derby della Madonnina keeps the Serie A title race mathematically alive, leaving a seven-point gap between the sides. However, the Nerazzurri have consistently shown a ruthless edge when facing mid-table opponents.

Pervis Estupinan’s first Milan goal on Sunday allowed the Rossoneri to beat their city rivals Inter for the second time this season, and partially reignited the title race in Serie A, as the Diavoli remain seven points below the Nerazzurri with ten games to go.

Bad news first, Inter fans. The Nerazzurri have not won a derby since April 2024, when they not only beat their city rivals, but also mathematically clinched their 20th Scudetto.
